Simple Thanksgiving Placemat for Kids

With only three days to go, I created a simple little placemat and word search.  Easy Thanksgiving printables.  Because when time is almost up, that’s how I roll.

I used clear contact paper from the dollar store.  But I also have a laminator that would be fabulous to use as well.  Just print and seal off.  Then set at the table for your kids to doodle on while waiting for dinner.

Grab a placemat to print for your kids for Thanksgiving.

In all seriousness I have lots to be thankful for.  My family and friends top the list- life wouldn’t be manageable without their support.  My faith provides me with hope.  I adore my 30days readers and am amazed that people keep coming back- thank you!  And Dr. Pepper is just the icing on the cake.

Why not add a little word search too?

What are you most thankful for ?

Fall Wreath: Lifestyle Crafts, Be Splendid

We’re coming up on my favorite time of the year- FALL. Bring on the sweater weather, pumpkin flavored everything and apple cider. To get a jump start on fall, I created a simple little fall wreath using some die cuts from Lifestyle Crafts and an embroidery hoop.

Word to the wise, READ DIRECTIONS.
You’d think I would’ve learned my lesson, but no. Ahem.

There is NO need to take off the white foam of the die cuts.
It’s a safety feature. The dies work well with it on.
And I just jumped in and tried to take it off. Doh!

I used an inexpensive embroidery hoop, some fun fall colored cardstock and got to work.  It took me less than a half an hour.  I punched the leaves, letters and scallop frame.  I then adhered them to the embroidery frame with scrapbook adhesive (you could use any kind of gluing type agent). And attached the ribbon to the back.

There’s lots of fun, new holiday  die cuts in the Be Splendid line.

Just curious- am I the only one that jumps into a project before reading directions?

Wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without….

Do you have a go-to Thanksgiving recipe? My Mom asked the three kids in my family separately what we had to have with Thanksgiving dinner last year. We all said the same recipe. It just wouldn’t be the same without it. Frosted Cranberry Squares. Just thinking about it makes me hungry. Mmmmmmmmm……

Feel free to copy & print this recipe.
You’ll love it……
I’ll link up a picture if I can manage one before it gets eaten up!

Tell me, what’s your go-to recipe?
Do you have a Thanksgiving tradition?
